1. Acceptance of terms
By creating an account, purchasing a plan or using DEA Music Distro, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must provide accurate information and have the legal ability to enter this agreement. You are responsible for protecting your login information and for activity through your account. Contact us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.
3. Rights to your music
You retain ownership of your music and other original content. You grant DEA Music Distro the limited permission needed to host, review, format, transmit, deliver, display and administer your content for the distribution services you request.
4. Your release responsibilities
You confirm that you have all rights, licenses, permissions and clearances needed for every recording, composition, sample, beat, image, name, trademark, credit and other element you submit. You are responsible for accurate metadata and for resolving claims connected to your content.
5. Prohibited content and conduct
You may not submit content that infringes another party’s rights, is fraudulent, unlawfully threatening, malicious, deceptive or otherwise illegal. You may not attempt to bypass security, abuse platform resources, manipulate streams, submit false ownership claims or interfere with the service.
6. Distribution and platform decisions
DEA Music Distro may review releases before delivery and may request corrections or decline content that does not meet requirements. Music platforms control their own review, availability, formatting, territory and takedown decisions. Delivery dates, acceptance, playlist placement, streams and commercial results are not guaranteed.
7. Plans and payments
Plan prices and included features are shown before purchase and are generally billed for the stated annual period. Payments are processed through PayPal. You authorize the applicable charge when you approve checkout. Access may remain inactive or be suspended when payment is incomplete, reversed, disputed or associated with suspected fraud.
8. Royalties and payouts
Royalty amounts are based on net reports and cleared funds actually received from music platforms or distribution partners. Amounts may reflect platform or distribution partner commissions, taxes, withholding, currency conversion, refunds, chargebacks, fraud adjustments and other permitted deductions. Reporting and payment timing vary. A payout may be requested only from funds marked available and remains subject to verification, valid account information, disputes, taxes and legal requirements.
9. Launch pages and fan lists
Eligible approved releases may use DEA Artist Launch Center pages. You are responsible for custom text and links you publish. Confirmed fan addresses exported from your launch pages may be used only for lawful, relevant artist or release communications consistent with the fan’s consent. You may not sell these addresses, add them to unrelated lists, conceal the sender, ignore unsubscribe requests or send unlawful or abusive messages. DEA Music Distro may unpublish a page or restrict fan-list access when needed to address misuse, rights claims, security concerns or legal requirements.
10. Artist Growth Suite and electronic press kits
Growth Suite campaign plans, captions, biographies, pitches and press materials are editable starting points generated from information in your account. You are responsible for reviewing them for accuracy, originality, rights, advertising rules and suitability before use. You control whether an electronic press kit is published and whether its contact email is shown publicly. Outreach must be lawful, relevant and respectful. DEA Music Distro does not guarantee press coverage, playlist placement, radio play, audience growth, streams or other campaign results.
11. Fan Engine, artist email and direct fan commerce
Fan Engine lets artists manage confirmed subscribers, send relevant artist or release email, operate a direct fan store and export their own fan and order records. Artists must honor consent and unsubscribe requests, keep messages lawful and relevant, and may not buy, sell or misuse fan addresses. Artists are responsible for the rights, accuracy, quality, description and promised delivery of every digital product, exclusive, lyric book, stem package or supporter benefit they offer. Tips are voluntary payments and do not purchase ownership, creative control or a guaranteed service. Supporter passes are fixed-term one-time purchases and do not renew automatically unless a future checkout clearly says otherwise.
12. Direct purchases, fees, refunds and downloads
Direct fan purchases are processed through PayPal. The checkout shows the amount due before approval. PayPal processing fees, refunds, reversals, chargebacks, taxes and fraud adjustments may reduce or reverse the amount credited to an artist’s available balance. Digital download access is personal, may have a stated download limit and does not transfer copyright or redistribution rights. Coupons, referrals and reward points have no cash value, may be limited or withdrawn for abuse, and apply only as shown at checkout. Refunds are handled according to applicable law, the product description, PayPal procedures and the circumstances of the transaction. DEA Music Distro may suspend fulfillment, reverse credits or restrict a store when payment is disputed, reversed, fraudulent or connected to prohibited content.
13. Takedowns and account closure
You may request assistance with eligible release takedowns. Processing time can vary by platform. DEA Music Distro may restrict or close accounts, reject releases, unpublish fan stores or remove content when needed to address nonpayment, policy violations, rights claims, fraud, legal demands, security concerns or harm to the service.
14. Service availability
We work to keep the service available and accurate, but maintenance, third-party systems, internet failures and events outside our control may interrupt access. Features may be improved, replaced or discontinued as the platform evolves.
15. Disclaimer and limitation
The service is provided on an “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. DEA Music Distro does not guarantee earnings, audience growth, platform acceptance or uninterrupted operation. To the extent permitted by law, DEA Music Distro is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses arising from use of the service.
16. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service changes. The date at the top identifies the latest published version. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms where permitted by law.
